SOME of our compatriots go abroad, and after satyed in a foreign country come back to the Philippines already affected by foreign influences in manner of thinking, dressing, and speaking. Do you know of any person who has acquired such foreign traits? What do you think of him?
As for me, personally, I do. They are my aunt and uncle. In dressing, I could say that they have acquired the styles and get-ups of the people in the country where they stayed in. However, not on how they think and make decisions or even in the way they interact with people.
Now, that, I consider very nice. Because eventhough there are some factors about them that have changed, but still, they did not allow themselves to change their personality, their whole being; instead, they did not forget who they are.
